They didn't grow up together
yet they are a family.
Sticking together through hardships and happiness,
until the end they'll stay united as one.
Best of friends these four are.
Time passed.
The family is slowly slipping apart;
feuds too frequent, conflicts not being settled.
Too often does each one feel alone.
One wants the past.
One wants a better future.
One stopped feeling.
One is too busy to care.
The past is doomed to repeat itself.
Why is that?
And when will it happen?
Why won't it happen sooner?
Questions fill her head.
Not one will ever be answered.
Still they haunt her to the point of breaking.
No sleep, no hunger, no need.
The future is bright,
but not theirs.
As much as he thought they deserved,
as good as they all seemed to him,
the future was dim.
Nothing is working.
They are not back together.
They are not a family any longer.
Feelings are over-rated.
Why care?
Why does he need to?
It causes unnecessary pain.
Why trouble himself with other problems,
when he already has his own?
It's pointless to care.
She wants the past, he wants the future,
but who needs them?
Busy as a bee.
That's what he has been lately.
School, study, play games.
School, study, play games.
A daily routine on repeat.
His family is there yet they are not.
He needs them,
but he doesn't have the time.
They need him,
but they don't fit in the routine.
There is no end yet.
I don't know what will happen.
Will the past repeat for the four?
Or will there ever be a future?
Will they feel together again?
Or will there even be time?
